Thursday 25th August 2011, we went surfing in the rain at Porthtowan. It started hailstoning while we were surfing in the giant waves. Later in St Ives we saw some seals in the sea, they were following a boat. The people on the boat had fish. One of the little girls threw some fish for them and the fishermen were very cross because they wanted the fish for their tea!

Geocaching and Swanpool Beach
Fishy Fun!
The otters were called Stasky and Hutch and they were very funny. Hutch was very naughty and when the man who was feeding them, went into their garden, he clung onto his trousers and nibbled his boots and toes!!!

Billie Elliot
On Wednesday before I went to see Bille Elliot, I made some blackberry jelly jam with my friend Tasha. It was delicious. Her mum and my mum made some scones to go with it. Yum Yum Yum
Billie Elliot was smashing, cool and I loved it .There were some very sad bits, where he talked to his dead mum. Some very funny bits when he dressed up with his friend in his sisters clothes and there was amazing dancing, including some backflips, cartwheels and a somersault off the wall.
Off to Oz

Tuesday evening, we went to see The Wizard of Oz. It was amazing, it was like being in a DVD! The tornado was the coolest thing ever and the cutest thing ever was Toto!
A real dog on the stage!
There was a really weird bit when the witch had ballet dancers in her castle and she was screaming.
My favourite characters were Dorothy and Glinda+The crazy witch.
My favourite scene is at the end when Dorothys wardrobe door swings open and the ruby red shoes are there!!
Crazy for You
On Monday I went to see Crazy for You at the Open Air Theatre in Regents Park. My favourite part was when Bobby the main character dressed up as Mr Zangler. It was so funny because when the real Mr Zangler came it looked like there were 2 Zanglers. The music and the singing were fantastic. The costumes were amazing, in fact the whole theatre was raised with music and laughter.
We had visitors during the show. They were fireflies!!! They lighted up the whole theatre and made it extra super special. x

Sunday in the Woods
Today we went to the woods. It wasn't an ordinary wood it was a "magical" wood. There were lots of special trees, like the Wonky Wizard Tree, The Woodland Wheel, The Rainbow Tree and the Bridge of Trust!
We found a tree that wasn't just any tree it was a Teepee tree, and we helped to make it more magical by adding more branches.
We also found Badgers Gorge ( A gigantic badgers home) and Hollywood world and Stone Mountain. What a busy day. When we got home we made scones to celebrate a magical day. Phew!!!!
Buzziful !

Pool Time
Back to the pool. This is Dadones pool in France. It is the most wonderful place in the world, ( well in France!).
Grandpa Richard let us swim everyday and we played the most wonderful games.
Lucy is the cheekiest grown up I've ever met and is really really naughty and fun. Once in the pool she chased me until I collapsed exhausted!
Cats Cats Cats
My friends have two cats. Totty Ann is a house cat and loves being inside in the shade. Their other cat is black and called Henry and he thinks he is a supercat. He loves the outdoors and to go hunting in the long grass. While we were there he caught two shrews, three lizards, a black bird and a beautiful woodpecker. We don't think he actually caught the woodpecker we think he found it and brought it to us to show off.
Bonjour France
